The 'Great Negotiatiors' Master Honours is a unique programme that focusses on the development of negotiation and communication skills, strategic deal-making and ethical conflict management. The program provides theoretical knowledge about current research in negotiations which we learn to apply in practical negotiations.
As a Bachelor student Business & IT we learn to bridge the gap between Industrial Engineering Management and Computer Science. Topics such as Business Intelligence, IT project management and Corporate Finance are included in the curriculum.
The Philosophy Honours Program provides students with texts from famous philosophers in Western history such as Plato, Kant, Wittgenstein and Arendt. These texts are analysed and discussed in a group. The course helps you to thoroughly read texts, formulate critics and arguments, and develop you on personal level.
As a third year student, I had the opportunity to study in Norway at the University of Stavanger for six months (August - January). I followed and completed courses in Intermediate Microeconomics, Marketing and Business Ethics within the department of Business Administration.
The Dutch Negotiation Network (DNN) is a national organisation overseeing local negotiation foundations. They organise the Dutch Negotiation Open together with research events. My main responsibility is to check the financial and strategic plans of the executive board.
Negotiation Project Twente (NPT) is a non-profit foundation aimed at the skills-based education of communication and negotiation skills to BSc and MSc students at the University of Twente. As a teacher of 15+ students, my main responsibilities are teaching the lectures in integrative negotiations, the harvard negotiation method, and post-settlement settlement (PSS).
The Dutch Honours Conference is a yearly returning event and is the largest conference for honours students in the Netherlands. At this year's conference, the focus is on the future of humanity under the theme "Facing the future: a brave new world". As a commissioner speakers, my main responsibility is to oversee the process of arrranging interesting speakers for the conference.
Joining the following committees: expedition committee, activity committee, technical committee, and acquisition committee. Respectively organising activities, a study trip focussed on company visits and education, maintaining the IT landscape, and starting collaborations with companies.
H.V. Ockham is the Honours Assocation of the University of Twente. The association fosters the connection between honours students by organising activities, drinks, lectures and excursions. In addition, we also organize activities with sister associations to connect the honours students nationwide.
Scouting Marca Appoldro is an enthousiastic scouting group organising challenging and fun activities for children from 5-20 years old. As a board member it was my responsibility to ensure the continuity of the group.
As a leader I used my creativity to organise challenging and fun programmes to scouts every Saturday.
Pareto is a negotiation consultancy boutique. We organise trainings, coach teams and individuals, and advice organisations about upcoming negotiations. My main focus is on political negotiations, and the manufacturing industry.
